Pipefitter Superintendent

MUST BE LOCAL TO THE HUNTSVILLE AREA - NO TRAVELERS - NO PER DIEM

Way Mechanical is located in San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Nashville, Huntsville, Tulsa, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Orlando. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is at the forefront of building, design assist, preconstruction, commissioning, building information modeling, and quality control. Way Mechanical is currently in need of a Pipefitter Superintendent to join the team!

Requirements:

• Able to pass a drug test
• Legally eligible to work in the US
• High school diploma
• Current driver’s license
• Proficient in the English language
• Must have Commercial Pipefitting experience
• 7-10 years of experience running Pipefitting projects
• Line out all field employees in the region based on project needs
• Attend bi-weekly Job Cost Meetings with specific answers for every project in the region
• Report to corporate headquarters daily
• Establish a relationship with the regional General Manager and communicate with them daily
• Train your foreman and potential foreman
• Read, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications
• Prepare, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications
• Full knowledge of chilled water, heating water, condenser water systems, and different materials used
• Work with fellow employees with a respectful and tolerant attitude

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Line out employees each day for your region
• Work necessary hours to hit mandatory deadlines
• Ensure your Foreman fills out Daily Reports, 3 Week Look Ahead, percent complete on project, and make them accountable to turn in employees’ time
• Communicate with Project Managers and Foremen, and the General Manager every day
• Attend on-site meetings with Mechanical and GC when necessary
• Ensure Foreman installs the highest quality product
• Represent Way Mechanical in a professional manner
