This is a hands-on site-based supervisory role, responsible for the successful delivery of pipework installations from mobilisation through to testing and commissioning. The Role

As Working Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for carrying out installation activities, and day-to-day supervision and coordination of pipework installation on site.

You will play a key role in ensuring projects progress to programme, installation milestones are achieved and completed systems are successfully tested and commissioned.

  • Electrofusion-welded pipework
  • Metallic welded pipework
  • Supervise the installation of associated pipe supports, bracketry and containment systems.
  • Ensure all works are undertaken safely and in accordance with relevant site procedures, RAMS and company standards.
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet required quality standards.
  • Coordinate inspection, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure installation records, quality documentation and relevant site information are maintained.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and ensure their work is delivered to the required programme and quality standards.
  • Assist with resolving technical and installation issues on site.
  • Maintain a strong focus on housekeeping, site organisation, safety and professional standards.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the project management team.
  • Support the successful handover and completion of projects.

You will need to have practical experience installing a variety of pipework systems and associated support, bracketry and containment systems, together with the ability to read and interpret drawings and translate project requirements into an effective site installation plan.

Essential

  • Time-served and suitably qualified in pipefitting / mechanical pipe installation.
  • Significant practical experience installing a range of pipework systems.
  • Proven experience supervising pipefitting or mechanical installation works.
