Pipelayers & Concreters - Drainage Structures

ALH Recruitment is seeking experienced Pipelayers, Pipe Labourers & Concreters to join high performing civil crews on major infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. If you’ve got proven civil experience, enjoy working outdoors, and want consistent hours with a supportive team, this is the opportunity for you.

What you’ll do:

• Install, align and join pipes for stormwater, sewer, and water mains
• Read and interpret plans, levels, and specifications
• Assist with trench prep, backfilling, and compaction
• Constructing and finishing concrete drainage structures - pits, manholes, headwalls & other infrastructure
• Work safely around machinery, hand tools & laser levels
• Collaborate with your crew to deliver high-quality outcomes on time

What you’ll need:

• Experience as a Labourer/Pipelayer laying storm water, sewer and water mains - highly regarded
• Experience in pit/manhole building, constructing gullies, headwalls
• White Card (Construction Induction) - essential
• Confident with lasers and site equipment
• Tickets such as Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, Roller, Excavator etc (advantageous)
• Current driver’s licence + reliable transport
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings
