What they need
- Develop Pipeline Basis of Design and Pipeline Material Selection.
- Provide technical support, technical assurance, and consultation to the asset team for new or modification projects in the area of Pipeline and Riser Engineering.
- Be responsible for engineering technical solutions, engineering studies, conceptual design, Front-End Engineering Design, and detailed engineering.
- Perform pipeline design, analysis, and calculations, including pipeline route studies, wall-thickness design, and material-grade selection for both rigid and flexible pipes.
- Perform collapse and buckling analysis, on-bottom stability analysis, pipeline end-expansion analysis, pipeline free-span analysis, bottom-roughness analysis, lateral-buckling analysis, fatigue analysis, and pipelay analysis.
- Perform pipeline crossing and structural-support design.
- Perform riser and dogleg stress and flexibility analysis.
- Perform cathodic-protection design and prepare relevant engineering drawings.
- Provide key technical input regarding constructability, installation method statements, installation sequences, and construction sequences.
- Develop pipeline pre-commissioning plans.
- Define the scope of geophysical surveys and develop soil laboratory testing requirements.
- Review and verify survey reports and provide technical recommendations regarding survey data, drawings, and alignment charts.
- Review, verify, and provide recommendations on calculations for existing pipelines, risers, and tie-in spools for integrity verification.
- Provide support for technical peer reviews related to pipeline and riser engineering matters.
- Provide technical expertise for the pre-qualification of line-pipe manufacturers, pipeline-component suppliers, and other related vendors.
- Carry out bid-engineering support and prepare technical bid packages.
- Review and recommend any deviations from company specifications and provide proper technical justification.
- Perform preliminary facility cost estimation for pipeline and riser development or modification projects.
- Prepare material take-offs for pipeline and riser engineering works.
- Support research, development, and technology projects related to facility engineering works when required.
- Ensure that all engineering work complies with applicable laws and regulations, project-specific specifications, company general specifications, international codes and standards, good engineering practices, and company engineering policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company Safety, Security, Health, and Environment policies and contribute to achieving the required SSHE performance targets.
