Pipeline Engineer

Qualifications:

·       New graduate up to maximum 5 years of experience.

·       Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Offshore, Marine or similar relevant discipline).

·       Ability to perform works proficiently under pressure and time constraints.

·       Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

·       Excellent English communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

·       Experience in solid mechanics and strength of materials for mechanical analysis/design is an advantage.

·       Experience in fluid mechanics for hydraulic and fluid dynamic analyses/designs is an advantage.

·       Experience in heat transfer and thermal analysis is an advantage.

·       Conversant with FEA analysis programs, e.g. ANSYS Mechanical, ABAQUS, etc. is an advantage.

·       Conversant with CFD analysis programs, e.g. ANSYS CFD, OpenFoam, etc. is an advantage.

·       Conversant with relevant codes and standards related to the Oil and Gas Industries, such as API, DNV, AISC, ABS, ANSI/ASME, and ISO codes.

·       Holding a minimum Level 1 of professional engineering license is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

·       Performing engineering analyses and designs as instructed by supervisor.

·       Preparing bid and cost estimate documents.

·       Performing conceptual, basic, front-end and detailed design engineering.

·       Preparing material take-offs and procurement documents, such as material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, etc.

·       Prepare engineering reports including calculations.

·       Preparing detailed specifications and datasheets.

·       Performing any other tasks as assigned by project manager/engineering manager.

·      Working with draftsman/designer to prepare all relevant drawings and checking.
