Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 4 days onsite and 1 day remote

Employment Type: Contract; no FTE conversion

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Corrosion & Integrity Engineer with strong expertise in pipeline integrity, corrosion control, fitness-for-service evaluations, and pipeline inspection technologies. The candidate will evaluate corrosion, dents, and crack features; analyze in-line inspection (ILI) and direct assessment (DA) data; recommend pipeline repairs; and maintain cathodic protection programs. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, and NACE CP1 certification is highly desired.

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Pipeline integrity and corrosion engineering.
• Fitness-for-Service (FFS) evaluations for corrosion, dents, and cracks.
• API 579, CorLAS, RSTRENG, MAT-8, or similar assessment tools.
• In-Line Inspection (ILI) and Direct Assessment (DA).
• Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) methods and practices.
• Pipeline repair and integrity assessment decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• NACE CP1 certification.
• Cathodic protection systems and corrosion mitigation.
• Pipeline pigging operations and in-line inspection coordination.
• Material investigations, failure analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Pipeline integrity documentation and record maintenance.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and relationship-building skills.

Interview Process and Additional Details

• Multiple interview rounds with the host manager and three supervisors in a panel-style format.
• Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
• Possible work locations: Pico Rivera or Chatsworth, California.
• No full-time conversion.
• Supplier must provide a laptop and monitor.
