Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pipeline Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale pipeline construction projects from start to finish. Duties

• Lead and supervise pipeline construction crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
• Coordinate construction activities with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize workflow and meet project milestones
• Review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid software to track progress and resource allocation
• Oversee quality control processes, including inspection of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
• Manage construction budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety or quality
• Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a zero-incident work environment
• Supervise the review of contracts and change orders using ProCore, Prolog, or similar construction management software
• Conduct regular site inspections utilizing tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure adherence to all construction regulations
• Facilitate effective communication among teams through managerial communication practices, ensuring clarity on project goals and safety procedures

Skills

• Extensive experience in heavy civil or pipeline construction management with proven supervisory capabilities
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and construction drawing review
• Skilled in project scheduling, construction schedule coordination, and managing multiple concurrent projects
• Deep understanding of federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and industry best practices for safety management
• Excellent crew management skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage subcontractors effectively
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, quality assurance, and contract administration within commercial or pipeline projects
• Ability to interpret technical specifications accurately and apply them on-site for successful project delivery
• Effective communication skills for managing teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
