Pipeline System Engineer

About the role

You will be responsible for system configuration, system templates and standards, systems engineering, and system design including design reviews and department meetings. You will manage overall system documentation and associated control philosophy, involving design reviews, training, and control philosophy guidance towards customers. You will oversee commissioning, first startup of the system, tuning and maintenance of the control system. You will liaise with other KROHNE departments, clients, vendors, authorities and KROHNE companies, involving occasional international travelling. You will participate in establishing and continuing review of design tools, system test equipment, licenses, design methods and procedures, and assist the company in achieving its dedicated aim of Best Practice.

Key responsibilities

• System configuration, system templates and standards, systems engineering, system design and design reviews
• Overall system documentation and associated control philosophy, involving design reviews, training and control philosophy guidance towards customers
• Commissioning, first startup of the system, tuning and maintenance of the control system
• Liaising with other KROHNE departments, clients, vendors, authorities and KROHNE companies, involving occasional international travelling
• Participation in establishing and continuing review of design tools, system test equipment, licenses, design methods and procedures
• Ensure all work and tasks are carried out in accordance with the Companies QHSE policies, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 QHSE Procedures

About you

• Bachelor Degree in Mechatronic or Electronic and Electrical Engineering or Technical Physics, IOT Engineering
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in similar capacity within process automation in oil and gas industry
• Knowledge and programming skills of process automation visualization and control
• Familiar with communication protocols, such as Modbus and OPC
• Familiar with process instrumentation like flow, pressure and temperature
• Familiar with P&ID's and E&I drawings
• Knowledge in fluid dynamic and pipeline system is fundamental requirement
• Knowledge of network topologies and related concepts would be highly desirable
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in configuration of SCADA Software, HMI Software is prerequisite and knowledge in PLC will be advantage
• Solid knowledge and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English language
• Technical and commercial awareness with a flexible and pro-active attitude
