Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. This vital role involves operating various types of material handling equipment safely and efficiently to support our warehouse distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics procedures.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking using barcode scanning technology to ensure accurate shipment processing.
• Load and unload shipments in accordance with safety standards in production and warehouse safety protocols.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal operation of forklifts and other material handling tools.
• Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock movements accurately.
• Assist with shipping & receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with OSHA safety standards.
• Support manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics operations.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols to promote a safe working environment.
• Experience in inventory management, materials handling, and warehouse distribution processes.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts.
• Previous warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
