Piping Designer (TPC)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop piping layouts, equipment layouts, and 3D piping models.

• Prepare piping GA drawings, piping isometrics, and piping MTOs.

• Route piping considering P&IDs, equipment interfaces, accessibility, maintenance, and constructability.

• Perform 3D model reviews and clash checks.

• Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil/structural, and instrumentation teams.

• Incorporate engineering comments and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D plant design software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D or AVEVA E3D.

• Good understanding of piping components, valves, fittings, supports, and piping material specifications.

• Ability to interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, and equipment drawings.

• Working knowledge of piping standards, including ASME B31.3 and ASME B16 series.
