Piping Engineer & AVEVA E3D Admin

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform piping engineering and AVEVA E3D 3D modelling for piping systems, equipment, valves, fittings, and related components.
• Interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, layouts, and engineering documents and ensure the model complies with project and client requirements.
• Perform piping routing, layout, model review, clash checking, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Maintain model quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
• Support E3D project setup, configuration, and administration, including databases, project structure, users, teams, MDBs, permissions, and access management.
• Support Catalogue and Specification administration, project settings, rules, defaults, and other E3D configuration requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for E3D users and modelling teams.
• Administer the E3D Draft Module and support drawing configuration and output.
• Create and modify isometric backing sheets, including borders, title blocks, revision blocks, zones, and other project/client drawing requirements.
• Support isometric generation and troubleshoot drawing-related issues.
• Develop and maintain E3D modelling and administration standards and procedures where required.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other E3D users and assist with training junior engineers/designers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mechanical) with Piping design experience in O&G is a must.
• Minimum 3 years is preferable in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of piping engineering and piping design principles.
• Good practical experience with AVEVA E3D.
• Strong understanding of 3D piping modelling.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and piping specifications.
• Knowledge of piping components, specifications, and routing principles.
• Understanding of equipment and piping layout requirements.
• Experience with E3D project databases and administration.
• Knowledge of users, teams, MDBs, permissions, and project structures.
• Knowledge of E3D Catalogue and Specification administration.
• Knowledge of E3D Draft Module.
• Ability to create and modify isometric backing sheets.
• Knowledge of drawing templates, title blocks, revision blocks, and drawing configuration.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
