Piping Engineer

Key Responsibilities of Piping Engineer :

• Plan, supervise, and execute piping installation and fabrication works at site.

• Review piping drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and project specifications.

• Ensure piping work is carried out as per approved drawings and engineering standards.

• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.

• Monitor pipe fabrication, erection, alignment, fit-up, welding, and installation activities.

• Check materials, fittings, valves, supports, and other piping components as per specifications.

• Coordinate with QC/QC team for inspection, testing, and approvals.

• Coordinate hydro testing, pneumatic testing, flushing, and other required testing activities.

• Monitor daily work progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.

• Ensure proper manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available for execution.

• Identify site problems and coordinate for timely technical solutions.

• Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and HSE requirements.

• Maintain piping records, inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.

• Coordinate with planning team to achieve project targets and schedules.

• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover activities.

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience -5-6 years

• Relevant experience in piping fabrication, erection, and construction projects.

• Good knowledge of piping drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and specifications.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
