Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in piping design and engineering for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, schedule, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Ensure all piping design work complies with relevant codes, design criteria, and project specifications.
• Review engineering deliverables and ensure accuracy and design intent.
• Perform quality control of work, including budget, schedule, plans, and team performance.
• Assign responsibilities, mentor project team members, and conduct technical interviews.
• Interact with clients to understand requirements and attend discipline-specific meetings.
• Collaborate effectively with other disciplines (piping, civil, etc.) to resolve design interface issues.
• Prepare and maintain engineering standards and participate in resolving piping issues during planning, design, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
• Work in 2D & 3D environments and be fully acquainted with piping deliverables.
• Ensure high-quality work processes with excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Technical Skills Required
• Familiarity with industry codes: ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API-570, API-650, NFPA, ASME BPVC Section VIII, and commonly used ASME, API & ASTM codes.
• Knowledge of EN codes (preferred).
• Expertise in preparing Piping Material Specifications (PMS), insulation specifications, and Material Take-Off (MTO).
• Ability to develop piping design criteria, system layouts, isometric drawings, GA drawings, plant layouts, and pipe support drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe sizing, thickness, pressure ratings, and piping symbology (PFDs and P&IDs).
• Experience with piping systems for pumps, tank farms, steam piping, racks, columns, compressors, coolers, and heat exchangers.
• Familiarity with tools such as CAESAR II (optional), Auto pipe, Navisworks, Smart Plant Review, AutoCAD, MicroStation, AVEVA E3D, and SP3D.
