Pizza Baker

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pizza Baker role located at ÜberQuell St. Pauli in Hamburg, Germany. The Pizza Baker is responsible for preparing dough, sauces, toppings, and pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include operating pizza ovens, monitoring cooking times and temperatures, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation in compliance with food safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and consistent product quality. The Pizza Baker also supports customer-facing activities when needed, such as answering product questions and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with experience in pizza or related kitchen roles.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including basic food safety, hygiene, and quality control.
• Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evening and weekend shifts.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to high culinary standards.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is an advantage.
• Basic German or English language skills sufficient for workplace communication.
