Pizza Chef

Job Summary
Idaho Pizza Company is looking for a skilled and dependable Pizza Chef to prepare pizzas and other menu items while maintaining consistent food quality, kitchen cleanliness, and efficient service during busy restaurant shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, and fresh toppings.
• Build pizzas according to recipes and customer orders.
• Operate ovens and kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor cooking times and food quality.
• Prepare specialty and customized pizzas accurately.
• Maintain an organized and properly stocked pizza station.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Check ingredients for freshness and proper storage.
• Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Keep cooking equipment, counters, and work areas clean.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
• Communicate with other kitchen and front-of-house team members.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza-making or commercial kitchen experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of pizza preparation and food-safety practices.
• Able to work quickly while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Able to follow recipes and portion standards.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Idaho Pizza Company is an Idaho-owned pizza restaurant franchise with locations throughout the state. The company has been operating since 1998 and serves pizza, salad, sandwiches, starters, desserts, and beverages. Its Boise locations include Broadway, Overland, Fairview, and Victory/Cole.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
