Pizza Chef

FULL TIME/ PART-TIME/ CASUALS

As our Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation and production of pizzas, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, presentation and food safety.

Key responsibilities

· Preparing pizza dough, sauces and fresh toppings

· Preparing and cooking pizzas to a consistently high standard

· Managing the pizza station during busy service periods

· Ensuring food preparation areas and equipment are kept clean and organised

· Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

· Monitoring stock levels and minimising food wastage

· Assisting with menu preparation and new pizza ideas

· Working closely with the wider deli and food team

Providing a positive experience for our customers.

About you

· Has previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar kitchen role, this is a MUST

· Has strong knowledge of pizza preparation and cooking

· Can work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment

· Takes pride in the quality and consistency of their food

· Understands food safety and hygiene requirements

· Works well independently and as part of a team

· Experience with high-volume pizza production and commercial kitchen operations will be highly regarded

· Reliable, punctual and able to work well under pressure.

· A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.

· Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
