Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and dough rollers safely and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza toppings or styles to enhance customer offerings
• Ensure consistency in food quality by adhering strictly to recipe guidelines and portion sizes
• Manage high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining speed and accuracy
• Support the broader kitchen team with food production tasks including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments, particularly with pizza or similar cuisine preferred
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment confidently and safely under pressure
• Experience with food handling, food production, and high-volume cooking environments within the food industry or restaurant sector
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to recipe standards

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
