The Swann House & The Quail’s Den are two exciting new dining concepts opening in historic Dandridge, Tennessee. As we prepare to open our doors, we’re building our team from the ground up—and looking for passionate, dependable people who want to be part of something new.

Join our vibrant culinary team as a Pizza Cook and bring your passion for crafting delicious, high-quality pizzas to life! In this energetic role, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen, preparing mouthwatering pizzas that delight our guests. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen equipment operation, and adherence to food safety standards will ensure every pie is perfect. Whether you're seasoned in fine dining or have extensive restaurant experience, this position offers a dynamic environment where your culinary skills can shine and grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to ensure timely meal production during high-volume periods
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times
• Maintain consistency in recipe adherence to deliver the same great taste every time
• Support kitchen team members in food production tasks including braising, poaching, grilling, and food presentation

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a focus on pizza or similar cuisine
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
• Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling in high-volume environments
• Background in dietary aide work or dietary department experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting overall kitchen operations
