Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all food handling procedures meet food safety standards and sanitizing protocols
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes and ingredient combinations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food prep stations and storage spaces
• Follow food safety management practices, including proper food storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices
• Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders with speed and accuracy
• Adhere strictly to recipe guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Participate in food production tasks such as braising, poaching, grilling, and other cooking techniques as needed
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced setting

Experience

• Previous experience working as a pizza cook or in a similar food industry role is highly preferred
• Strong background in food preparation, including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
• Knowledge of menu planning principles and recipe adherence within a high-volume production environment

We are looking for someone with open availability from 10:30 am -10 pm weekdays and weekends!

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
