Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas following established recipes and presentation standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures comply with food safety regulations
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or toppings based on customer preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station and overall kitchen area
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences during busy hours

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, particularly in pizza making or similar culinary roles
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices
• Experience with high-volume production environments and recipe adherence
• Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
