Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
• Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation and service
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings based on current trends and customer feedback
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, and prep stations
• Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy hours
• Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of pizza and coordinating delivery or setup

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Experience with menu planning and creating appealing pizza options
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Knowledge of fine dining or restaurant experience enhances your ability to deliver quality service
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
