Duties

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care
• Cook pizzas using various methods such as ovens or grills, ensuring optimal quality and presentation
• Follow food safety protocols to handle ingredients properly and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
• Assist with food preparation tasks for other menu items as needed in a busy restaurant setting
• Ensure timely delivery of orders by coordinating with serving staff and managing multiple orders efficiently
• Maintain inventory levels by restocking ingredients and supplies during shifts
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to uphold health standards

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
• Excellent skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques specific to pizza making
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving staff
• Prior experience in serving or customer service is a plus, demonstrating a friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
