Pizza Cook

Join our growing team as a Pizza Cook In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, as well as grill and fryer menu items, ensuring each dish meets our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety.

Duties

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care.
• Cook pizzas to perfection using gas oven, ensuring consistent quality.
• Prepare and cook grill and fryer menu items including wings, hoagies, salads and appetizers
• Follow established recipes and menu to deliver authentic flavors and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to, including proper sanitation practices and temperature controls.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and ensure timely order completion during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pizza making. Must be experienced with hand-tossed pizzas, stretching dough and launching off a peel.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, handling equipment such as knives, mixers, slicers, and kitchen operations within the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene in a culinary setting
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively within the kitchen.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Availability evenings and weekends
• Pay: $13 per hour DOE pay could be higher if you have pizza making experience
