Duties

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care.
• Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens and other kitchen equipment, maintaining consistent quality.
• Assist with food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
• Support the food service team by assembling orders efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, workstations, and storage spaces.
• Follow all food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices to uphold health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during busy hours.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to pizza making.
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Kitchen experience within the food industry is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• fresh Pizza cooking: 3 years (preferred)
