Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
• Handle food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, and assembling ingredients with precision and care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety standards are met
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, and other cooking tools
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings to keep offerings exciting
• Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines
• Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of pizza and related dishes

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a food service environment, especially in pizza making or similar culinary roles
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
• Experience with dietary department standards and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
• Skilled in knife handling, meal preparation, and food presentation for fine dining or casual settings
• Familiarity with menu planning, food handling protocols, and catering operations
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating delicious dishes that delight customers and elevate their dining experience

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
