Pizza Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and regulations
• Load and unload goods onto the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods in a professional and courteous manner
• Collect payments from customers, if required
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs, mileage, and fuel usage
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate loading of goods

Skills
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Customer service: Ability to provide friendly and professional service to customers during deliveries
• Heavy lifting: Capability to lift and move heavy items as required during loading and unloading
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
• Commercial driving: Proficiency in operating commercial vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
• Forklift operation: Experience or certification in operating forklifts for loading/unloading purposes (preferred)
• Warehouse knowledge: Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization
• Moving experience: Previous experience in the moving industry is a plus
