Pizza Dining Associate

Job Summary

Romano's Pizza is hiring a Pizza Dining Associate to provide friendly guest service and support daily dining room and restaurant operations. This role assists with taking and serving orders, maintaining clean dining areas, answering guest questions, supporting takeout service, and helping create a welcoming dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Communicate customer requests and special instructions to kitchen staff
• Serve pizzas, beverages, and other menu items according to service standards
• Assist customers with menu questions and routine service requests
• Monitor dining areas and respond promptly to guest needs
• Clear and clean tables, trays, utensils, and service areas
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service areas
• Restock beverages, napkins, utensils, condiments, menus, and other supplies
• Assist with takeout, pickup, and order packaging when needed
• Process cash, card, and other approved payments accurately
• Coordinate with kitchen and counter staff to ensure orders are served correctly
• Respond to routine customer concerns and communicate complex issues to supervisors
• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and payment-handling abilities
• Good customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a pizzeria, restaurant, or casual dining environment
• Familiarity with POS and order-processing systems
• Strong guest service and communication abilities
• Good organization and time management skills
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
