Pizza Dining Service Worker

Job Summary

Adam’s Pizza House is hiring a Pizza Dining Service Worker to support daily dining room and restaurant service operations. This role assists guests, takes and serves orders, keeps dining areas clean, supports food service activities, and helps provide a friendly, efficient dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate orders to kitchen staff.
• Serve pizzas, beverages, and other menu items
• Assist customers with menu questions and routine service requests
• Process cash, card, and other approved payments accurately
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service areas
• Clear and clean tables, trays, utensils, and service areas
• Restock beverages, napkins, utensils, condiments, and other dining supplies
• Package and prepare takeaway and pickup orders when needed
• Coordinate with kitchen and counter staff to ensure orders are served accurately
• Respond to routine customer concerns and communicate complex issues to supervisors
• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, pizza, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and payment-handling abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask effectively

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a pizzeria, restaurant, or casual dining environment
• Familiarity with POS systems and order processing
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Good organization and time management skills
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
