Pizza Front Counter - Lunch Shift

Job Summary

Join our Mondello family in the pizzeria for lunch shift, where you'll be the friendly face greeting customers and managing their orders. This role combines food service expertise with excellent customer interaction, ensuring every guest receives top-notch service while their orders are prepared accurately and promptly. You’ll handle food preparation, POS transactions, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. This position is on hourly wages with lots of room for advancement plus a share of the tip pool and cash tips.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, take their food orders accurately, and provide excellent service to enhance their dining experience
• Operate Toast POS system to process retail sales transactions, handle cash register operations, and manage food service customer orders efficiently
• Prepare pizza ingredients and assist in assembling orders according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Manage food industry equipment such as ovens, slicers, and kitchen tools safely and effectively
• Process cash transactions accurately while balancing cash register at the end of shifts

Experience

• Previous experience in restaurant environments preferred, but not required.

Pay: $9.00 - $14.00 per hour
