What they need
- Graduate of Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related culinary program; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in professional pizza production, preferably with 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Proven expertise in pizza dough preparation, fermentation, hand-stretching, sauce preparation, topping, and baking techniques.
- Strong knowledge of different pizza styles, dough hydration, fermentation, oven management, and baking temperatures.
- Experienced in operating deck, gas, wood-fired, or other commercial pizza ovens.
- Able to maintain consistent taste, texture, portioning, appearance, and product quality.
- Knowledgeable in recipe development, menu creation, costing, portion control, and food cost management.
- Skilled in inventory management, ordering, receiving, storage, and minimizing food waste.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, supervise, and motivate pizza cooks and kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen hygiene procedures.
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and during peak operations.
