Job Summary

Johnny's Pizza House is hiring a Pizza Kitchen Cook to support daily pizza preparation, cooking, order fulfillment, and kitchen operations. This role prepares ingredients, assembles and cooks pizzas, maintains food quality, supports timely order completion, and keeps the kitchen clean, organized, and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other pizza ingredients
• Assemble pizzas according to recipes, customer orders, and portion standards
• Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain consistent food quality
• Inspect finished pizzas for proper cooking, appearance, and presentation
• Prepare and package dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders accurately
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to complete orders efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cooking station
• Restock ingredients, toppings, packaging, and kitchen supplies
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, ovens, and food preparation equipment
• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties
• Support kitchen operations during busy service periods
• Report food quality, equipment, or order issues to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous pizza, restaurant, cooking, or food service experience is an asset but not required
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling
• Ability to follow recipes, cooking instructions, and customer orders
• Strong attention to detail and food quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle kitchen equipment

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a pizzeria or commercial kitchen
• Familiarity with pizza ovens and commercial cooking equipment
• Knowledge of pizza preparation and cooking techniques
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to multitask during busy service periods
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
