Job Summary

Pizza Marvin is hiring a Pizza Kitchen Worker to support daily pizza preparation and kitchen operations. This role assists with preparing ingredients, assembling pizzas, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting the kitchen team in providing accurate and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients
• Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Assemble pizzas and menu items accurately according to customer orders
• Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain food quality
• Prepare and package orders for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen workstations
• Restock ingredients, toppings, packaging, and kitchen supplies
• Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, counters, and food preparation surfaces
• Check food quality, freshness, and proper storage
• Assist cooks and kitchen team members during busy service periods
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties

Requirements

• Previous pizza, restaurant, kitchen, food service, or culinary experience is an asset but not required
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion standards
• Strong attention to detail and food quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a pizzeria or commercial kitchen
• Familiarity with commercial pizza ovens and kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong organization and time management skills
