Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other tools safely and efficiently to facilitate food production.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza combinations and seasonal specials that excite our customers.
• Handle food ingredients with care, practicing proper food handling techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking methods.
• Support high-volume production during peak hours by organizing ingredients and managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Ensure all food preparation aligns with dietary guidelines and customer dietary needs, including dietary aide experience when applicable.

Experience

• Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting, preferably with fine dining or high-volume production backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and knife skills essential for precise pizza crafting.
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in menu planning, recipe adherence, and food safety management practices.
• Previous food service experience demonstrating excellent food handling skills and attention to detail.
• Catering or large-scale meal preparation experience is a plus for managing multiple orders effectively.
• Knowledge of dietary department procedures and food safety sanitizing protocols ensures compliance with health standards.

Pay: $25.24 - $30.40 per hour
