Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and cheeses according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic workspace
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials
• Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
• Support the team with food production tasks including grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling as needed
• Follow recipe adherence meticulously to deliver authentic flavors and maintain brand consistency

Experience

• Previous food industry experience with a focus on pizza or restaurant kitchen environments preferred
• Strong culinary background with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in high-volume production settings
• Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Demonstrated knife skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Catering experience or fine dining experience is advantageous for delivering exceptional customer service
