Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of pizza recipes according to established menu specifications and customer preferences
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and dough rollers efficiently and safely
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards throughout the food preparation process
• Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and inventory levels to ensure consistent product excellence
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas based on current trends and customer feedback
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and company policies
• Support the team during busy service hours by maintaining high-volume production standards while upholding quality and presentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting, with a focus on pizza or similar cuisine
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen environment
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure
• Experience with recipe adherence, menu planning, and food production processes
• Excellent food handling skills with an emphasis on hygiene and safety standards
• Previous catering or fine dining experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
