Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza maker to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a love for creating delicious pizzas. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, maintaining proper stock levels.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
• Assist with meal preparation and other food preparation tasks as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavour and texture.
• Help train new kitchen staff in pizza preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Skills

• Proven experience in a bakery or pizzeria environment is preferable but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent meal preparation skills with attention to detail in presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A passion for culinary arts, particularly in pizza making, is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
