We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of pizza preparation techniques. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas that meet our customers' expectations.

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food handling guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including work surfaces and cooking utensils.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Handle cash register operations and process customer orders accurately in the POS system.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any special requests or concerns.

Skills

• Experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or similar roles.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with operating cash registers and POS systems.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in cafés, grocery stores, or sales is a plus.
• Skills in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas are beneficial.
