Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizza doughs, sauces, toppings, and cheeses according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed meticulously to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials based on customer preferences and industry trends
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee perfectly baked pizzas with consistent quality
• Maintain inventory levels of ingredients, restocking supplies as needed to support high-volume production
• Adhere strictly to food safety management protocols, including proper food storage, sanitizing procedures, and allergen awareness

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles, preferably with pizza or restaurant experience
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures within a commercial kitchen setting
• Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production environments
• Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for creating visually appealing and tasty pizzas

Pay: $25.02 - $30.14 per hour
