Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients, including dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and herbs with precision and care.
• Use proper knife skills to cut, slice, and portion ingredients efficiently while maintaining food safety standards.
• Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely to cook pizzas to perfection.
• Follow established recipes and menu specifications to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils regularly.
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas based on customer preferences and current food trends.
• Handle food safely by adhering to all food handling regulations and maintaining proper storage of ingredients.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experience for dine-in or takeout orders.
• Support catering events or special functions with timely pizza preparation and delivery.
• Ensure all food preparation aligns with health department standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a culinary setting, particularly with pizza making or in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Experience with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
• Knowledge of menu planning and ingredient sourcing for optimal flavor combinations.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and prep stations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration.
• Prior experience in the food industry, including fine dining or catering, is highly desirable.
