Job Summary
Izzy's Pizza is looking for a skilled and dependable Pizza Maker to prepare Detroit-style pizzas and support smooth kitchen service. The role involves dough preparation, topping pizzas, oven work, and maintaining consistent food quality throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients.
• Assemble pizzas according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate pizza ovens safely and monitor cooking times.
• Maintain proper portion sizes and presentation.
• Prepare orders accurately during busy service periods.
• Keep food-preparation stations clean and organized.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Stock ingredients and communicate supply needs to management.
• Assist other kitchen team members when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza-making or kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
• Strong attention to food quality and order accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen duties.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.

Izzy's Pizza is a locally owned Omaha pizzeria specializing in Detroit-style pizza. The restaurant makes its dough in-house and prepares its pizzas with a signature cheese blend and scratch-made ingredients.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
