Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a strong emphasis on pizza-making techniques. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and handling practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
• Utilize knife skills for precise ingredient preparation, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste.
• Engage with customers when necessary, providing excellent service and addressing any inquiries regarding menu items.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the culinary field, particularly in pizza preparation or fine dining environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
• A passion for the food industry with a willingness to learn new cooking techniques and recipes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
