Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and dough rollers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas following food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Assist with food production tasks including dough preparation, topping assembly, braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling to support high-volume output.
• Follow recipe adherence meticulously while adapting to special dietary requests or modifications as needed.
• Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new pizza ideas or variations based on customer preferences and current food industry trends.
• Collaborate with team members during meal preparation and serving to ensure timely delivery of hot, fresh pizzas in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on pizza making or similar culinary roles.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and meal preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling protocols.
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely within a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with dietary aide practices, menu planning, and catering experience is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in high-volume production settings.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.
