Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of pizza styles according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures meet strict food safety standards
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or toppings to enhance offerings
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency during high-volume production periods
• Support food safety management by adhering to sanitizing procedures and proper food storage practices
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, especially within the food industry or restaurant environment
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
• Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and food handling regulations
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely under pressure during busy hours
• Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and catering is advantageous
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on maintaining a clean, organized workspace
