Job Summary

Pitch Pizzeria is seeking a skilled and dependable Pizza Maker to join its kitchen team. This role focuses on preparing high-quality pizzas, maintaining consistent food standards, and supporting an efficient kitchen during busy service periods. The ideal candidate takes pride in scratch preparation, teamwork, and clean kitchen practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes.
• Stretch, shape, and assemble pizzas accurately and consistently.
• Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure properly finished pizzas.
• Follow customer orders and special preparation instructions carefully.
• Maintain appropriate portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Keep the pizza station stocked and organized throughout service.
• Coordinate with other kitchen stations to maintain smooth order flow.
• Check ingredients for freshness and proper storage.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and preparation areas.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with prep, opening, closing, and other kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza-making, line-cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dough handling and commercial pizza ovens is a plus.
• Strong attention to food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume service.
• Comfortable following recipes and portion specifications.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift kitchen supplies.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pitch Pizzeria is an Omaha-based pizzeria and restaurant known for coal-fired pizzas, handmade pasta, house-cured meats, cocktails, and wine. Its West Omaha location is at 17808 Burke St, Omaha, NE 68118; Pitch also operates a Dundee location at 5021 Underwood Ave.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
