Job Summary

Mama's Pizza is seeking a dependable and skilled Pizza Maker to prepare high-quality pizzas and support efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a busy pizzeria, pays close attention to food quality and consistency, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, cheese, toppings, and other ingredients for service.
• Stretch, shape, assemble, and bake pizzas according to restaurant standards.
• Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent results.
• Follow customer orders and special preparation requests accurately.
• Maintain proper portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Keep the pizza station stocked and organized throughout each shift.
• Coordinate with other kitchen team members to maintain smooth order flow.
• Check ingredients for freshness and store food properly.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, ovens, and preparation areas.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, prep, and other kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza-making, line-cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial pizza ovens and dough preparation is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Strong attention to food quality, accuracy, and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion specifications.
• Dependable attendance and a positive team attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift kitchen supplies.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Mama's Pizza is an Omaha-area pizza restaurant that has been serving the community since 1975. The company operates locations in Midtown Omaha, West Omaha, La Vista, and Tiburon. The Midtown location is at 715 N Saddle Creek Road, Omaha, NE 68132.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31.0 per week
