Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and cheeses according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic workspace
• Follow recipe adherence meticulously to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or seasonal specials
• Manage high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining quality and speed
• Support overall food preparation activities including braising, poaching, grilling, and other culinary techniques as needed
• Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times to meet health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or high-volume food industry environment
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and knife skills
• Experience with menu planning and recipe adherence to maintain consistency across dishes
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
• Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus for understanding special dietary needs
• Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence and innovation

Pay: $26.10 - $31.43 per hour
