Duties

• Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces following established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food processors efficiently and safely
• Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to produce perfectly baked pizzas with consistent quality
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or ingredient combinations to enhance offerings
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
• Support high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and quality control

Experience

• Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environments, especially within the food industry or restaurant settings
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper sanitizing procedures
• Experience with culinary techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods relevant to pizza making
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment efficiently
• Background in dietary aide roles or dietary department experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments with high-volume production demands
• Catering or fine dining experience is advantageous for delivering exceptional customer service through culinary excellence

Pay: $25.59 - $30.81 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
