Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all food handling and food safety sanitizing procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
• Maintain high-volume production standards during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of freshly made pizzas
• Adhere to recipe guidelines meticulously to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
• Support overall food preparation activities, including ingredient portioning, dough stretching, and topping placement

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service, particularly in pizza making or similar culinary roles
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely
• Experience with food industry standards such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent understanding of dietary considerations and menu planning for diverse customer needs
• Culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential

Pay: $25.45 - $30.65 per hour
