We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation and handling, with a strong focus on maintaining food safety standards. The Pizza Cook will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food output.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
• Assist in menu development by providing input on new pizza recipes and seasonal offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes that delight customers.
• Certification in food handling or culinary arts is a plus but not required.
