Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients following established recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Assemble pizzas with precision, adhering to recipe specifications and presentation guidelines
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout food preparation and service areas
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect crusts and toppings every time
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or seasonal specials based on customer preferences
• Support high-volume production during busy hours while maintaining consistency and quality in every dish

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles within a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with culinary techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling practices
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of operating various kitchen equipment safely
• Experience with food safety management protocols and sanitizing procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Background in dietary aide or dietary department work is a plus, especially if it includes meal preparation or catering experience
• Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to food safety standards during high-volume production
• Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant settings that emphasize quality presentation and customer satisfaction

Pay: $26.47 - $31.88 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
